Classes We Offer

Leaps & Bounds

This specialized program for our youngest dancers was personally created by Miss Lisa. Comprised of ballet concepts, along with jazz movements, it offers the best of both worlds for the tiniest of dancers!

Acrobatics

Acro classes focus on building strength, flexibility, and control through safe conditioning drills and stretches in a well-spotted environment.

Ballet

The key to being the best possible dancer you can be is to study ballet! It is the foundation of all dance and teaches poise, grace, technique, confidence, discipline, and strength.

Jazz

Upbeat and energetic, jazz offers the dancer a chance to learn jumps, turns and kicks, combined with funky movements and current music.

Hip Hop

This street-style form of dance, set to current music, is a big hit with young dancers as many of the “urban” movements are found in popular music videos.

Tap

Tap is the only dance discipline that allows one’s own body to become the instrument! Offered to students aged 5 and up, tap promotes rhythm, coordination, musicality, control, and balance.

Lyrical

Lyrical is founded in ballet and jazz technique, and enables dancers to express emotions and interpret the lyrics of a song. Beyond technique, lyrical teaches dancers to tell stories through their movements

Competitive Dance

If you think competitive dance is right for your child, inquire with our office to learn more.

This is an expansion into the Brantford area of a very successful studio based in Simcoe. Our granddaughters, both teenagers, have danced since they were tykes and attended as students at another studio in Brantford. I am familiar with the teaching staff that have chosen to share their talents at this new location in Cainsville (very close to the significantly convenient intersection of Colborne Street and Garden Avenue).

The director is Vicki Fletcher, acknowledged internationally as a top-flight acro-dance instructor and choreographer. Our granddaughters hold her in the very highest regard because respect for her is well-earned. Assisting Vicki are several other very experienced and award-winning teachers and choreographers. This dedicated crew has attracted a group of talented young dancers as well as very young ones just starting to learn what dance is all about. The nurturing environment and emphasis on having a fun experience while adopting the discipline, teamwork and skillset to succeed in the competitive and wonderful world of dance has helped so many participants to develop into poised, confident and engaging young women and men. There could be no better place in the Brantford area for them to do that than at Lisa Naves Dance Company.

My daughter has had a lovely experience at Lisa Naives for 8 years so far and she plans to continue dancing her heart out for many years to come. 💛🖤
