Elyse began her dance journey at Lisa Naves Dance Company at the age of four and joined the competitive team at the age of nine. Elyse has trained extensively in various styles such as contemporary, ballet, jazz, and hip hop. She takes pride in her stage presence and versatility as a dancer.

Elyse has taken classes from award winning choreographers at workshops, Dance Canada solo finals pageant, private lessons, and exclusive online classes. As her love for hip hop grew Elyse was exposed to many expansions of hip hop such as dancehall, breaking, whacking, house, and locking making her a more well rounded dancer.

Elyse has gained teaching experience from her part-time placement in a primary classroom and from occasionally assisting highly skilled choreographers.

Elyse is known for her ability to connect with children. She creates a fun and supportive learning environment where students feel safe to grow and express themselves.
