Rebecca Jacobs

Instructor

Rebecca’s love for dance began at the young age of three in Hamilton, Ontario, where she took her first steps into the world of movement and music. By the age of seven, her natural talent and fierce dedication had already made her a highly competitive dancer. To further her training, she transitioned to a prestigious studio in Oakville, where she elevated her skills and was consistently recognized for her excellence—earning numerous overall awards, scholarships, and prestigious titles at both regional and national dance competitions.

Rebecca is extensively trained in a variety of dance styles, including jazz, lyrical, contemporary, acro, hip hop, and tap. However, her foundation and greatest strength lie in ballet. She has completed formal training in both the Royal Academy of Dance (R.A.D.) and Cecchetti methods, giving her a comprehensive and disciplined background in classical technique. For five years, she successfully ran a Cecchetti ballet program, where she not only taught but also prepared her students for mock ballet examinations, ensuring they were technically strong and performance-ready. Her leadership in this program reflects both her depth of ballet knowledge and her commitment to preserving classical ballet standards.

As a choreographer, Rebecca has enjoyed a successful five-year career, creating award-winning routines that have been recognized at numerous dance competitions for their creativity, musicality, and emotional impact. Rebecca’s passion for the stage is clearly reflected in her dynamic choreography, her dancers’ performances, and her choreography reels—showcasing a distinctive style that blends classical technique with contemporary artistry.

Though Rebecca is now building a professional career as a consultant at an accounting firm and is currently pursuing her Certified Professional Accountancy designation, her heart remains deeply connected to the dance world. She continues to work as a choreographer and mentor, inspiring the next generation of dancers with her knowledge, experience, and unwavering passion for the art form.
