Sarah Allen
Instructor
Miss Sarah has bled black and yellow as far back as her memories go. She spent her childhood and teen years dancing recreationally at LNDC, training in jazz, hip hop, tap, ballet and lyrical. It wasn’t until after graduation that she began to discover her love of teaching- she started assisting and supply teaching at the studio and has since received awards such as the Over The Top Assistant Award, the Melva Brown Amazing Adult Award, and the Andrea Hare Spirit Award. She has taught dance classes at YMCA Camp Wanakita and directed and choreographed many dance-based talent shows for Calvary Daycare’s summer camp programs. In the summer of 2026, Sarah earned her Tap Dance Instructor certification from the Tap Dance Centre.
Sarah graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University, earning an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Human Rights and Human Diversity. She is also a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) and teaches preschool during the day!
Through her experience as an RECE and her years of mentorship from Miss Lisa and Miss Diane, Sarah has become a beloved teacher for all of the “littles” and cherishes LNDC’s philosophy of having high standards for both recreational and competitive dancers. Miss Sarah is looking forward to another year of helping students foster a lifelong love for dance!
